Serviceberry, Robin Hill
With planting space at a premium with new build homes, we wanted to offer a lovely landscape tree. The Robin Hill Serviceberry fits the bill with a smaller height at maturity with an expected crown spread of 15 feet.
In the spring, this cultivar features pinkish-white flowers. In the summer, the blue berries this tree produces are loved by local birds. In the fall, you can expect a stunning red-to-orange display of colours. All told, this is a brilliant three-season tree that would suit any home.
The Robin Hill Serviceberry is rated as a medium growth tree and under ideal growing conditions should live for 40+ years.
This tree does best in full sun to partial shade. It prefers to grow in average to moist conditions, and shouldn't be allowed to dry out. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. It is somewhat tolerant of urban pollution. This particular variety is an interspecific hybrid.
Delivered as a Bare Root tree. Approximate height at time of delivery is 150cm.
