A small native understory tree that does well in, either, sun or shade. Has a slow growth rate. Brilliant orange to red Ffall colour. Also known as a “muscle wood” for its muscle-like ridges along its smooth, gray trunk. Leaves are a deep bluish-green with fine teeth, and become successively larger along the shoots.
The Blue Beech ships bare root. Approximate size at time of delivery is 175 cm.
