About the Home Hospice North Lanark Tree Fundraiser
Started in 1999 by the Mississippi Mills Chamber of Commerce, the Tree Fundraiser has been a beloved community tradition ever since. Since 2015, Home Hospice North Lanark has proudly carried on this initiative, with all proceeds supporting local home hospice palliative care services.
Thanks to the generous support of Reid Gardens in Carleton Place, each tree or shrub purchased comes with a complimentary 30-liter bag of 3-Way Planting Mix and a packet of Root Rescue (mycorrhizae), helping your new addition thrive from day one.
Our trees are locally sourced from a trusted commercial nursery, where they're carefully shaped and root-pruned for strong, healthy growth. Delivered fresh each spring, your tree will be packed and ready with the ideal moisture level for a seamless transition to your home landscape.
Pick-Up Details:
Trees and shrubs will be available for pick-up on April 26, 2025, at Reid Gardens in Carleton Place (140 Pick Road, next to the Garden Center).
For all tree inquiries, please contact Home Hospice North Lanark at trees@hhnl.ca. Thank you for supporting our community and this beautiful greening initiative!
