The Cortland Apple tree is very popular, as it bears gorgeous ruby red apples with a snowy white flesh that don't turn brown in salads. It is also excellent when used for making apple cider, apple pie and apple butter. A very productive apple tree, known for its fruit heavy branches.
Originated in Geneva, New York in 1898. Cold-hardy. Ripens in mid-September.
