One of the great North American apple varieties and one of the best for eating, cooking, and baking.
Developed in eastern Canada in the 1820s, the McIntosh Eating Apple has consistent been named a popular variety with crisp, red apples, excellent sweet flavour and attractive colour. This species is very hardy.
