Species with an upright, spreading crown 7m high & 5m wide (up to 23 ft. x 16 ft.) with purple leaves changing to bronze; fragrant pink showy flowers in spring in stunning `profusion` attract butterflies & other pollinating insects; small red-purple fruit; full sun & well-drained soils, good disease resistance.
