Dear Hub Hospice Tree Supporters,
The news you have all been waiting for ... the trees will be arriving in Almonte late next week!
With this announcement also comes some very important information about changes to the pick-up process. We ask that you please read this message in its entirety.
VOLUNTEERS
In order to meet physical distancing requirements, our volunteer group will be very small. With more than 200 trees to unload, sort, tag and bag, please have patience with us.
LOCATION CHANGE
We have moved distribution to the Almonte Agricultural Hall & Fairgrounds, located at 195 Water Street in Almonte. This venue provides ample space to maintain distancing practices during the scheduled pick up times.
SCHEDULED PICK UP TIMES
We are asking customers to only arrive at the Fairgrounds on SATURDAY, MAY 30, 2020 during your scheduled pick up time. The windows are based on orders numbers as follows:
Orders 2370 to 2381 - 9:00am to 9:30am
Orders 2382 to 2391 - 9:30am to 10:00am
Orders 2392 to 2401 - 10:00am to 10:30am

In the event you do not know your order number(s), please email Andrea at trees@hhnl.ca for support.
Should you be collecting 2 or more orders that span multiple time slots, please email trees@hhnl.ca to confirm your arrival time. This will ensure your bundles are placed in the correct order.
ARRIVAL, LOADING & DEPARTURE INFORMATION
Upon arrival, please proceed to Gate #2 on the map. Follow the driveway and a volunteer will greet you to confirm your order number. You will then be directed where to proceed and park. A volunteer will bring your order to your vehicle. After the volunteer has moved 6 feet away, please exit your vehicle, load your order, depart through Gate #1, and proceed home to plant your new trees!
PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS
This year, we will not be handing out hardcopies of our planting instructions. Instead, we are including them with this message; Bare Root Planting Guide & Container Planting Guide. We encourage you to read the guides in advance and where possible, prepare your planting location. Don't forget - you may need to procure some soil.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
On behalf of Home Hospice North Lanark, thank you for supporting our tree sale fundraiser. We realize it has been a challenging spring for everyone and we greatly appreciate your patience during this most unusual time.
